Easter fayre stalls and raffle in aid of Tomas

On 21st April 2011 at The Oak, Near Cancelada, an Easter fayre was held and nearby residents Maureen Robson and June Tildesley arranged for two of the stalls and the raffle to be run in aid of Tomas. Thanks go to all who attended and were involved in the event and the new manager of The Oak, Tony Bedwell and his staff.  Thanks also go to the Passion Cafe, San Pedro for their generous donation of delicious and wonderfully presented cakes and confectionary which were sold on the day in aid of Tomas and thoroughly enjoyed by all!   Maureen Robson who set the wheels in motion for Tomas to be represented at the fayre said after the event ” A wonderful day was had by all. We would like to thank everyone for their kind generosity in helping to raise funds for Tomas. A total of 749 Euros was acheived from the cake stall, the white elephant stall and the raffle.¨

We attended on the day with Tomas and met many lovely people at the event, so our personal thanks also go to all who were there on the day or who donated items for the stalls or the raffle prizes.

Look out on this web site for details of the next fundraiser to be held by Maureen and June in aid of Tomas. They are planning to organise a sponsored walk in aid of Tomas and would love to hear from people who would like to join in the fun whilst at the same time raising fun for such a worthy cause.  The number to contact regarding this future event is 697750394.
