Hydrotherapy (or Aquatic Physical Therapy/Aquatherapy) plays an important part in improving muscle tone and strength and mobilising joints, while increasing circulation, endurance, flexibility, range of movement, balance and coordination.

The buoyancy, support and resistance of the water combined allows for enjoyable but extremely productive exercise.

Hydrotherapy, increases the range of movement in the arms and legs and assists in improving sitting, standing, walking, thereby helping to improve everyday mobility. It also improves gross and fine motor movements which assist in other daily activities and the childs ability to play with toys etc. helping their psychological well being and general quality of life.
